Page BottomOne of the things everyone doing metalwork eventually needs, besides a lathe and everything else, is a milling machine. Some people get by with small ones, occupying a couple square feet on a table somewhere, and turning out exelent smaller pieces of metal. I had a chance to grab a massive Bridgeport base, with the pedistal and table lift, everything but the T-slot table top itself and the gearhead.
It's been sitting out there on a pallet for years, several years with no covering against the rain. I set in a place in the workshop's concrete floor for it to live. The neighbor has not allowed me near it in so long, i took this photo from 30ft away on the other side of a fence.
