This site is best viewed using Firefox 2.0+, IE has assorted bugs, as well as intentionally breaking standards, and useing proprietary html that breaks the normal use of standard words. I'll try accomodate IE, but i won't break the look and feel i want to see in FireFox just so IE won't mess up. I mean really: Microsoft won't go out of their way for me, and your choice of browser is your choice. That said, at least some of these pages look the same in IE7, IE8, FF2, FF3, and Safari.
This page, and all the others, are still under development. For the most part, i am migrating data, and converting to CSS. I am also making sure every page is resizeable, and none are fixed widths, on none will you need to scroll left-right to see the whole page. Only the menu boxes won't resize.
There's a lot of rhetoric around the internet, talk shows, and news programs now about President Obama and nationalism, about the various crisis in finances, banking, jobs, the Gulf of Mexico. Here's my take on nationalism in the usa:
1) After discovering i don't have as much right to my property as my neighbor's dog(s), i refuse to say the "pledge of allegiance", because this isn't the land of the free, it's the land of dog. Ditto about it being "under god", when it's controlled by dog. I cannot come or go unless the dog approves it, i cannot get post mail from the mailbox unless dog approves it, i cannot get garbage pickup unless dog approves it. And if the dog is outside, it does not approve it.
2) The usa isn't so great when a handful of individuals can wreck it. And i mean the republican presidents of the last 20 years, i mean bin Ladin, i mean the BP (British Petroleum) execs, i mean banking execs, i mean everyone else who is corrupted or lax on the job whose influence is far too wide for their britches.
